Colombo YMCA invitational Novices Judo Tournament will be held on the 17th of July at the YMCA Gymnasium from 8.30am onwards assisted by the Jigoro Kano Judo Foundation.Mr. Johanness Koch,a Senior Judo Instructor of the YMCA Colombo and a vice President of the Foundation gave a donation of Rs.5,000.00 for the purchase of Medals for the Tournament..

Jigoro Kano Judo Foundation Lanka will be conducting Judo seminars and demonstrations on the 24th,25th and 26th of July 2010 in the Eastern City of Trincomalee through a programme called "Peace through Judo".The first phase of this programme was held in the City of Jaffna in the North Region in the month of March,2010 and was very successful and over 200 youths both girls and boys attended.
